Lapwai Days 2026
Our office will be closed on Monday, July 13th, and we will resume our regular business hours on Tuesday, July 14th. 💙🎶 Thank You, Lapwai! 🎶💙 What an incredible Lapwai Days 2026! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. It was so wonderful to see our community, families, friends, and visitors come together for an amazing weekend filled with fun, music, laughter, and memories. A huge thank you to all of our amazing vendors, our talented bands—*KATZ** and *Harmonious Funk Band**—our photographer/videographer, and every volunteer who donated their time and energy to help make this event such a success. We truly couldn't have done it without each and every one of you. Despite the hot weather, everyone came together with smiles and community spirit, making this another unforgettable Lapwai Days. We are so grateful for your support and for helping make this tradition one to remember. *Please note:** Due to our short staff and after a busy weekend, the Mayor has graciously given City Hall staff *Monday off** to rest and recover. We will return *Tuesday** to finish cleanup and wrap up another successful Lapwai Days. From the bottom of our hearts, *thank you for making Lapwai Days 2026 such a wonderful celebration.** We can't wait to see everyone again next year! 💙🎉

The Thunderhill Showdown returns for its second year, bringing our community together for a day of movement, remembrance, and hope. This 5K run/walk begins at the Lapwai Football Field, climbs to the top of Thunderhill, and brings us back home again — a route that mirrors the uphill battles we face and the strength we find in one another.

We gather at 0800 to connect, support, and honor those we’ve lost. The run starts at 0900, carrying us up Thunderhill with purpose and bringing us back down with renewed strength and unity. Your registration helps support suicide prevention efforts, community healing, and resources for those who need them most. Entry Fee is $35.

We get Lapwai Days weekend rocking this Friday at 7pm with Lewiston's own, The Katz Band. Bring a chair or blanket to the Lapwai City Park for music from the 80s and 90s while you enjoy good food and the volleyball tournament . Stickgames will start later in the evening.

Office Closure Reminder
Lapwai City Hall will be closed July 2nd through July 6th in observance of the holiday. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, July 7th.
